سلام و وقت بخیر.
در جلسه ی اول، بررسی ساختارهای ترم با زمان حال ساده آغاز شد.
کاربرد: اتفاقاتی که همواره صدق می کنند و یا همیشه تکرار می شوند.
مثالهای فارسی:
- · فیزیکدانها همیش هبه دنبال حقیقت هستند.
- · دانشجوهای مهندسی در این دانشکده تحصیل می کنند.
- · این ماده به الکتریسیته واکنش نشان می دهد.
- · هسته ی اتم دارای پروتون و نوترون می باشد.
- · مواد در حالات مختلف، واکنش های مختلفی دارند.
- · دانشمندان، ذرات زیر-اتمی را مطالعه می کنند.
مثالهای انگلیسی:
¢ Atoms release a lot of energy.
¢ Physicists work in the lab to study atoms.
¢ Many books examine the nucleus of an atom.
¢ Electrons orbit around the nucleus.
¢ Protons and electrons neutralize each other.
¢ Scientists discover new aspects of atomic reactions every year.
¢ This substance reacts to electricity.
¢ The nucleus contains protons and neutrons.
¢ The nucleus of an atom has a great deal of energy.
¢ This machine converts water to ice.
قاعده: فعل جمله بدون تغییر باقی می ماند. تنها در حالتی که از فاعل سوم شخص استفاده می کنیم، حرف s به انتهای فعل اضافه می شود.
مثالهای حالت منفی:
¢ Some atoms don’t release a lot of energy.
¢ A number of physicists don’t work in the lab.
¢ These books don’t examine the nucleus of an atom.
¢ Liquids don't have a definite shape.
¢ Scientists don't know the reason behind this change.
¢ The atomic number doesn't determine
¢ The nucleus doesn’t contain electrons.
¢ The nucleus of an atom doesn’t have a negative electrical charge.
¢ The weight of a molecule doesn't influence this reaction.
¢ This instrument doesn't detect small changes.
قاعده: از فعل کمکی don't یا doesn't قبل از فعل اصلی استفاده می کنیم. در صورتی که از doesn'tاستفاده کنیم، حرف s سوم شخص فعل حذف می شود.

13- Diameter قُطر
The diameter of the Earth is about 13000 km.
14- Participate شرکت کردن در
Everyone in the class should participate actively in this discussion
15- Straight مستقیم، صاف
If you look straight ahead, you'll see the church in the distance.
16- Determine تعیین کردن
The software is able to determine the exact source of unwanted mailings on the Internet.
17- Identify شناسایی کردن، هویت چیزی یا کسی رو مشخص کردن
Can you identify the man who robbed you?
18- Neutralize خنثی کردن
The report analyzes a medicine that neutralizes the acid in the stomach
19- Decade دهه
The bridge was built a decade ago.
20- Absorb جذب کردن (فیزیکی)
Plants absorb the nutrients from the soil.
21- Entirely تمام و کمال، به صورت کامل

تمرینات جلسه ی آینده:
جملات زیر را به انگلیسی برگردانید. نحوه ی سنجش: جملات فارسی روی بورد به نمایش در می آیند و داوطلبان، بدون کمک از نوشته های از پیش آماده شده، جملات را به صورت شفاهی به انگلیسی برمیگردانند. از لغات بالا کمک بگیرید و به ریزه کاری های زمان حال ساده دقت کنید:
1- این گزارش، ویژگی های اتم را بررسی می کند.
2- در یک اتم، الکترون ها به دور هسته می چرخند و نوترون ها درون هسته قرار دارند.
3- فیزیکدانها ویژگی های اتمها را تخمین می زنند.
4- در بسیاری از آزمایش ها، اتم به صورت کامل انرژی آزاد نمی کند.
5- ویژگی های این اتم با شرایط بقیه اتمها تفاوت نمی کند.
6- بسیاری کتابها، ویژگی های دائمی اتمها را بررسی می کنند.

10- فیزیکدانها، ویژگی های بنیادی یک اتم را در آزمایشگاه شناسایی می کنند.
